I believe music education goes beyond our lesson time. For each student, we set both long-term goals and short-term goals for each quarter. We work toward something meaningful, such as a recording, recital, music exam, or competition.

I also try to provide as many performance opportunities as possible. I believe music is about sharing and expressing ourselves. Making music should feel as natural as speaking, and the goal is not simply to entertain, but to find and express our own musical voice.
